Literature Text

Life is hell
Liars pretending all is well

Everybody chasing dreams
Ripping the world apart at the seams

Trying to find a love that doesn't exist
Those that find it don't resist

Posioning the mind, hearts to lead
Expectant arrogance, born and bred

We are the future, present and past
In a world where we may now be the last

Everyone sees only their own desires
Worried only about putting out their own fires

It's okay for you to hate me for the words I say
I don't need you to see things my way

I don't care if anyone is listening, if anyone cares
I can handle the stunned silence, the stares

I just refuse to stay silent anymore
I no longer believe people are good at the core

This will not end well
But it doesn't matter, this is already Hell

Death is bliss
The truth when all is not well

Someone running from nightmares
Barely seaming a dream together

Found a love that shouldn't exist
And resisting it when found

Poisoning the heart, the mind leads away
Unexpected dependence, found and forged

There is no place in time for this
But it is a world where you were not the first

Someone that can't see what they want
Happy only when the fire is put out

It's not oken for them to love when actions have been taken
They won't see anything any other way

They won't take a moment to listen, as if uncaring
All they will handle is the yelling, screaming, and staring

You might as well have been silent
Some people seem to be rotten right to the core

Something else could begin anew
It didn't have to matter, but this is not bliss
