Beheaded, I pick up her crown
Alice in Wonderland
Wanders no more
Taking in the wonders
Until feet and eyes are sore
I become the new queen of chaos
Having to control just to survive
Just to find in the turmoil of madness
Is the place where I can thrive
No longer just a poppet
Now I hold all the strings
Only I know which path leads out
Or which way the ax will swing

Hi! I saw your submission here and your artist's comment and was curious about "mean people" you mention. If someone says you shouldn't put things up here that you didn't make, I would hope they do so nicely with an explanation as to why that is. deviantART is not the same as Photobucket or other general image sharing or storage sites. Your gallery is meant for things you've made, to show off your own work rather than things you just find - why showcase others' images when you can highlight your own creativity? Everything you find online was made by someone and belongs to them unless they've relinquished copyright. The problem with posting others' material to deviantART is that the site assumes you own the copyright to your material. If you look at the information for this submission, right next to the category, you'll see "©2013 ~annieheart12." Unfortunately, since you didn't make this, that essentially means you're claiming copyright over something that you didn't make!

It's not respectful to other creative people to take their work and post it elsewhere, especially without credit. Even though this image isn't a drawing, it still wasn't made by you. I hope that helps clear up why "mean" people might be commenting or noting you about posting images that aren't yours. You wouldn't want someone to repost your work and claim they did it (either on purpose or by implication), would you?
