Description

Was practicing my shading. Wish I had left it greytoned, instead of adding some color.

Also a nice drawing!
As a shadow-practice I especially like the hat. the different layers of shadow are really fine here!
The pumpkin may have fared better with more shades of shadow. I also think the perspective is a bit of as the light is really low (assuming everything stays on the ground), so the shadow should probably be stretched out more. I also miss some light/shadow-effects on the lamp itself! the socket and the roof of it usually aren't equally lighted/shaded in my opinion.
The shadow of the card is nice! I think it's pointing not right towards the lamp but the hat though^^
Regarding the cloth at the wall, I'm a bit confused where the light is supposed to come from. For the lamp, it's the wrong direction, also for the left window. And as a quick empirical research reassured ([link]) if the cloth is on the same wall as the window above the door, the shadow will be outstretched so much that it would fade into just a hint of a light shadow.
So, that's a critique about shadows^^

For the rest I really like how you made the different textures and the ornaments on door and lamp! The colours matches, too, in my opinion. The door seems a bit strange with the panels not really geometrical fitting, but the lock/doorknob is a nice design^^
By the way: is that a stamp on the drawing or does this belong to the photo?
